Putrajaya

as i planned last week, i had a short photography trip to putrajaya...
it was a bit depressed when i departed from KL, it was about to rain...
i told myself no matter what, i shouldn't give up...

shot at the sky, and it was really going to rain...

but the view was still ok, not too bad although it would be better if the sky were clearer...

there were gangs of malays hanging alongside...

i guessed they had just finished some boat-race or what...
all together, nice views for photograph...

these were some experimental art-pieces of A-DEP function with my 50mm F1.8...

the DOF was just nice, objects were outstanding... nice try...

need more trials to differentiate big appeature at A-mode and A-DEP mode...

another art-piece from my 50mm F1.8, appeature set to F4.0...
focus set at the middle of the photo...
DOF is just nice...

yeah!!!!

finally i got the yolk... the sun finally "came out" from the cloud...

nice experience from this journey...

what's next?
i have no idea yet...
my parents are coming to KL next week, i guess i will have family photos rather than scenery...
let's see how... stay tuned...

1st shooting experience

well, it was really not easy to have a sunny day when i wanted to go out for shooting...
take a look at this...
shot with my newly bought lens, 50mm F1.8, impressed with the super big appeature...
the sharpness and colour are not tip-top...
but remember, it is only RM350, whatelse you wanna expect?
maybe 1 day i should go for its brother, F1.4, haha, not easy, 3x the cost you know buddy?
i did a little adjustment, hopefully it is not over adjusted...
take a look and comment...

shot with my 50mm F1.8. appeature set to max, blurr out the background...

this isn't a good shot...

the photo indeed is a bit out of focus and the DOF is not deep enough for a landscape like this...
appeature should be as small as possible to have clear background and deep DOF...

this is considered one of my favourite shots of the day...
this is the power of F1.8, the object stands out...
the object is a bit out of focus... considering this is my first experience... hahah...

plan to go to putrajaya next week... stay tuned...
