Flash workshop

attended nikonian's flash photography workshop on 12th dec with a buddy...
again, i was the only canon in the class...
luckily the instructor was experience enough to guide me...
the workshops have been designed for all brands of cameras,
of course not p&s lah...
and guess what, one of the participants is a Tuanku (what an honour)
he illustrated what was so called "machine-gun" DSLR, 9 fps...
3.4fps vs 9fps... hahahaha
while, the workshop was all about flash, how to make use of the hotshoe flash...
we were taught how to shoot "blindly" without much considering the camera settings while the flash was attached.
then i realised, flash is EASY man (not as difficult as i thought)...
but the hard part of flash is the off-body flash, however it is still manageable...
so what's in my mind now? some DIY modifiers, an additional speedlight and a wireless trigger...
and... you know what? i think canon should design something similar to sb-900...
you know what i mean CANON...
take a look at the selected photos taken in the workshop...
